James Dean Motorcycle Legend Tribute Site
James Dean was an American actor on film. He is a cultural icon around the world that is best remembered for his film “Rebel without a Cause”. Many people however were not as found of James Dean as the masses were. They described him as a high honor graduate in black leather and a motorcycle. Dean may have overstayed his time in the “Rebel Stage” however he will always be remembered as the Western Rebel.
After his role in the East of Eden, Dean purchased himself a racing vehicle called MG TD. Afterwards he upgraded his vehicle to a 1954 Porsche 356 Speedster and began racing. He placed 2nd in the Palm Springs Road Races in 1955. In May at Bakersfield he came in 3rd place.

There is currently a James dean Tribute Motorcycle bike on the market. It was made by Marcus Walz, from Walz Hardcore Cycles. The frame of the bike consists of a 2005 Hardcore Chopper stretched 2” near the backbone and 4” by the down tube. The back wheel has a 17: diameter and is 200mm wide. The front fork holds a 21 inched front wheel and has a degree of 40.
On September 30th, 1955 Dean and his mechanic set off in his Porsche 550 Spyder for a race in California. Later that day a head on collusion with a 23 year old student sent Dean to his death. It was said that Dean’s head hit the front grill of the other car, and he suffered a broken neck. The purpose to this site is to relive the legend of James Dean and his motorcycle.
